MOV2GO NETWORK TO HOST MID-OHIO VALLEY HIGH SCHOOL FOOTBALL AWARDS BANQUET

Following each season, the area’s best High School Gridiron Gladiators gather for a night of remembrance and recognition as the MOV2Go Network hosts the area’s only region wide high school football awards banquet.

The Mid-Ohio Valley High School Football Awards Banquet will be held on Saturday January 9, 2020 at 5:00 pm at the Parkersburg Art Center, 725 Market Street, Parkersburg, WV

This red carpet affair will recognize and honor the achievements of those student athletes participating in interscholastic football as well as the contributions of those who support the mission of high school football.

Award categories include:
• COACH OF THE YEAR

• ALL AROUND PLAYER OF THE YEAR

• ACADEMIC PLAYER OF THE YEAR

• OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR
• DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE YEAR

• SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE YEAR

• OUTSTANDING QUARTERBACK
• OUTSTANDING RUNNING BACK

• OUTSTANDING RECEIVER

• OUTSTANDING INTERIOR LINEMAN

• OUTSTANDING LINEBACKER
• OUTSTANDING DEFENSIVE BACK
• OUTSTANDING RETURNER
• OUTSTANDING KICKER

• OUTSTANDING PUNTER

In addition to coach and player awards, the LIFETIME ACHIEVEMENT AWARD will be presented to an individual who has demonstrated visionary leadership and who has made outstanding contributions to the local high school football community.

The final award presentation of the evening will be the CONFERENCE CUP which is sponsored by a local business and awarded to the conference with the highest overall win percentage.
